Hello and welcome to my photography website.

I am an enthusiastic amateur photographer although I have done some paid work for local companies, mostly product shots for website catalogues - not the most exciting subject but I have to say it is quite nice to get paid to enjoy my hobby.

My passion is my cats (as you will see in my galleries) but photography wise my passion is macro, especially insects and animals. I find the macro world fascinating, I get to see details which are normally not seen and although I am not keen on sharing my home with bugs I do find them rather beautiful when seen through the macro lens.

I live was born in West Yorkshire, grew up in Lincolnshire and now live in Paisley, Scotland. The Scottish scenery is breathtaking, a most beautiful country (but very wet) and I find the Scottish people to be the most friendly I have come across. I never say never, but I cannot ever picture living anywhere else now.
